The Wacker Neuson Vario is fitted with an excentric mechanism which enables the upper carriage to be shifted to four different positions, thus perfectly combining the benefits of a conventional excavator with those of a zero tail excavator in one machine - the Wacker Neuson Vario. This worldwide patented technology is available as an option on the following models - Wacker Neuson 3003 Vario, Wacker Neuson 3503 Vario, Wacker Neuson 8003 Vario and Wacker Neuson 12002 Vario.
