| KramerAllrad's new 250 and 350 miniloaders: lightweight machines that offer more stability than competitor machines
ÜBERLINGEN/GERMANY. KramerAllrad have extended its 50 series and will be presenting their 250 and 350 miniloaders for the first time at the Bauma show. Stable, manoeuvrable and user-friendly – these are the most important features of the two smallest loaders produced by this wheel loader specialist. The machines will target agricultural, landscaping and gardening operations, but value-for-money will also make them of interest to rental fleet operators.
Superior stability is one of the major benefits offered by Kramer's new miniloaders which are built according to the same design principles as the larger wheel loaders: 4 wheel steering and a one-piece chassis providing ground contact at all times even in rough terrain. The specific design of these machines makes for enormous manoeuvrability: thanks to their compact dimensions and high steering angles. These miniloaders are fast, safe and manoeuvrable on confined construction sites – even under a full load of 1000 kg and easily handled by either model. 2,50 metres is an impressive dump height for a machine of this size, and the outstanding drive performance is based on wheel motors offering excellent efficiency. The Kramer 350 (0.35 m3 bucket volume) is slightly stronger than the 250 machine (0.25 m3 bucket volume). The Kramer 350 (0.35 m³ bucket volume) is equipped with a 31 hp engine, and the 250 (0.25 m³ bucket volume) with a 22 hp engine in standard version.
At a width of 1.20 metres, both machines can be easily driven on most sidewalks and cycle paths. Free turning wheels and the low dead weight of the machines results in minimal damage to sensitive surfaces. “Our miniloaders are much kinder to soils than skidsteer loaders,” says Norbert Mingau, Kramer's product manager. No paths or borders are damaged when transporting stones, soil or heavy lawn sods. Transporting the miniloaders is also transported even on car trailers. Landscapers and gardeners will draw benefits from the large number of implements that can be used for a wide range of applications: in addition to the usual equipment, Kramer also offers a series of options specifically for landscapers.
To some extent, another application the new miniloaders can be used for will take Kramer back to its roots. In the early beginnings of the company, the founding fathers built agricultural mowers and tractors. Kramer is convinced both machines will soon establish a new generation of “farm loaders” with simple handling, good performance and increased stability for efficient use in agricultural operations. With the rollbar folded down, these machines are only 1.80 metres high and hence ideal for applications such as mucking out low stables. Kramer will offer a large range of implements for these applications.
Both models will be available with a cab or a foldable ROPS bar and with a standard hydraulic quickhitch. Powerful auxiliary hydraulics and stronger engine versions will be optional (31 hp for the Kramer 250 and 37 hp for the Kramer 350). Depending on legal regulations, the new miniloaders can be equipped with an optional lights package for driving on public roads.
